On October 26th, 2011, Mauricio Delfin (Research and Development Strategist for La Factura) participated with a presentation entitled "Media, information and the promise of new technologies in Knowledge Transfer (KT) practices” in the Annual Meeting of the Trauma and Global Health Program at McGill University, where he works as a Research Fellow.
The presentation addressed various ideas on information systems, knowledge transfer in academic and research communities, and the relationship between these processes and new technologies. Work developed by La Factura – using the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima’s Open Data for the design of information graphics on the situation of public transport in the city – was mentioned.
